House Tour

A post a week didn't last long did it?!  In my defence February has been taken over with moving house; packing, cleaning, unpacking, cleaning & more cleaning.  I did make Connie's beanbag, just didn't get round to blogging it...
We moved last weekend and are just about unpacked.  I am excited to give you the guided tour so you can see for yourselves the slice of America we have bought.  Its a classic 1960s "ranch style" (aka bungalow) home with a pool and plenty of garden to run around in.  Much of the original features (and dust) are still in situ, read brown wooden cupboards and pink bathroom suite.  It is a true fixer upper. The plan is to go hard and fast for the first 6 months and see where we get.  Mr Maker is under the impression I will get most of the renovations done whilst both girls are at play school which is two mornings a week *scoff*
My head is exploding with ideas and as yet I have not found a suitable place to record my thoughts.  Of course Pinterest holds many of my fanciful designs.  The aim is to create online mood boards as seen at Young House Love or maybe not, its a full time job for those people. I suspect the reality will be far from this but Aim High Alice, Aim High!

  1. Looks a beautiful home and honestly, my mum would die to have the patio area! Will be amazing in the summer - sitting outside in the warmth with a BBQ going! Can't wait to see how it develops. Also, cool header :)

    I am now following you..
